Mr Babatunde Ajiga (Financial Secretary)

Moruff Babatunde Ajiga is a Chartered Accountant of repute who has a distinguished career in the Lagos State Civil Service. He was born at the Lagos Island Maternity Hospital, on the 12 day of July, 1967. He attended Christ Church Cathedral School, Broad Street, Lagos and from there proceeded to the prestigious Methodist Boys' High School, Lagos, where he obtained both his General Certificate of Education (GCE) O' & A level certificates. He also attended the University of Lagos, Akoka, where he obtained a BSc (Hons.) Degree in Banking And Finance. He has a Masters Degree in Banking And Finance, which he obtained from the Lagos State University (LASU) in 2007.

Mr Moruff Babatunde Ajiga in his quest to render exemplary service to his State of origin, joined the Lagos State Unified Local Government Service in 1995 and through dint of hardwork and commitment is presently a Deputy Director and the Head of Finance and Accounts Department.

Mr Ajiga is a Chartered Accountant; Member, International Federation of Accountants (IFAC); Member, Institute of Public Accountants (IPA), Australia; Member, Certified Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ANAN) and also an active member of the Nigeria Institute of Management. His hobbies include reading and seeking knowledge on diverse subjects; writing, playing Lawn Tennis & Swimming. He is happily married to his heartthrob and they are blessed with children.
